Through the use of philosophy, psychology, as well as lived experience and fiction, it widens the conversation, looking to reclaim a spirit once found in schools of comfort. Modern society tends to stifle necessary vocal misconduct. The misfit, who refuses to trade such posture within this ethos becomes a necessity of moral reason.

At its heart, this is about the cost of coherence in dishonest times and the strange grace of being difficult. Arguing that difference and argument are, in fact, signals of depth, The Morality of the Misfit reminds us that presumed harmony may be the last remaining act of integrity.
